💧The taste of water is boring…..how do I make it fun

Do you feel the taste of water is too plain, boring or flavourless….?

You’re not alone as some people have this issue where they want to drink more water but find it plain and boring.

Well we have a couple of life hacks for you.

Infusion

Infusion is the process of simply adding fruit to water and allowing the flavour to mix over time.

There are simple recipes like adding mint, cucumber (slices) or lemon (slices). (link to some easy recipes)

You can also buy an infuser bottle from a retailer like Amazon (link to Amazon results page) which keeps the fruit or additives in a capsule while the flavour mixes. This is good for those who don’t like the feel of fruits as they try to drink water.

You can then add fruits like strawberries blackberries pineapple or wherever your creativity takes you (create your infusion)

Fruits & vegetables

Yes, some fruits and vegetables are a good source of water so you don’t have to physically drink water to consume it. Below is a quick list of fruits and vegetables along with their estimated water percentage.

  • Cucumber 96% water

  • Spinach 91% water

  • Tomatoes 94% water

  • Watermelon 91% water

  • Broccoli 90% water

  • Carrots 90% water

  • Celery 95% water

  • Grapefruit 90% water
