😲National Picnic Month 2022 - July 1 - 31

Sunshine, food, chatter and maybe some background (sounds from mother nature herself)!

Oh yes, it’s that time of year, when you get your blanket and your picnic basket.

Why is this important you may ask?

Well given the time of isolation most of us experienced and still some to this day, it’s a great opportunity to get family and friends together again to celebrate being together, enjoy the weather and feel happiness and joy about life.

Want to kick it up a notch?

If you have enough garden space why not have a barbeque with your picnic with a bit of background music (not just mother nature and her magical sounds)?

A special thing to note is it doesn’t have to be a group of people, you can take time for yourself on a picnic or share with a friend or partner.

A picnic can be held in your garden, local park, near a lake or riverside and national parks.

Please respect the space you choose (don’t litter) and try not to leave scraps or feed the animals your food (some of our foods can be poisonous to wildlife and pets)

But most importantly when out for a picnic…

Be on the lookout for smiling bears with green hats & ties (your picnic baskets will be in danger)

Enjoy your picnic and stay hydrated!
