šŸ’5 Health and Nutrition Tipsā€¦Our gift to you Part 1

Get enough sleep

Weā€™ve touched on this subject before which you can find here.

We canā€™t state enough how important sleep is to your overall health. A poor sleep routine can be a huge individual risk that can factor towards weight gain and obesity. Those who donā€™t get much sleep usually end up making poor food choices that contain high calories, sugar and unhealthy fats ( We say unhealthy fat because not all fat is unhealthy). These usually lead to unwanted weight gain.

Avoid Bright lights before sleeping

These days it seems our tech goes everywhere with us even to our bedrooms before we sleep.

Most of our tech unfortunately emits a blue light which a be harmful to your sleep and in some cases prevent you from sleeping entirely no matter how tired your body might be. We understand most people use phones as alarms so, with most modern phone updates as of late 2022, you can adjust your phone so it doesnā€™t omit this blue light. (weā€™ve also found this in gaming laptops as well)

Stay hydrated

We have also touched on this subject before which you can find here.

We almost always have this conversation with our clients.

Naiquan: ā€˜Are you drinking water?ā€™

Clients: ā€˜No, I know Iā€™m not drinking enough either but I donā€™t know what to do?ā€™

Naiquan: *face palm*

Hydration is known to most but often just ignored. Being properly hydrated means your body is working properly and has the correct blood volume.

Eat a good amount of fruits and vegetables

Fruits and vegetables have lots of vitamins, minerals, fibre, antioxidants and water (good for hydration, the previous tip). A little incentive for you is that Studies like this one here, have shown that eating more fruits and vegetables can not only reduce chances of getting terminal diseases but also prevent ā€˜premature mortalityā€™ (dying earlier)

More regular exercise

Guess whatā€¦yup we touch on this before as well which you can find here. Getting into a regular exercise routine can help your physical health as weā€™re sure most of you know but, your mental health as well.

This is good for reducing stress and body fat around the body. Some types of fat can cause harm to your organs so doing regular exercise as well as practising good nutrition can help reduce this and improve your health
